Wordless Wednesday -- May 1,2013

Now that the A-Z Challenge is behind us it is time to focus on getting back to what ever each of us considers "normal". For me it is taking part in Wordless Wednesday....

Today is the first day of May......Aaahhh.... just saying it makes me feel optimistic and hopeful.
In this part of Eastern Canada, we have not yet reached a "planting season", but natural growth has started.

This pretty dandelion, which will be the bane of my existence in a couple of weeks, is now signifying that as far as Mother Nature is concerned, growing has begun!

  1. Boy you're quick off the mark. Can't you schedule your posts? I love to see lots of lovely green grass littered with dandelions, it is such a pretty sight.

  2. The poor, much maligned dandelion is actually very pretty, with it's dahlia like head and very versatile too you can pick it to admire, eat or brew it into some wine!

  5. I've been waging a war on the dandelions, in my gardens, for years. I've won a few battles, but I know very well in the end, they will win the war!!!

  6. Dandelions are a inspirational lesson in themselves. They're just survivors and never give up no matter what. Happy May! :-)
