Now that the A-Z Challenge is behind us it is time to focus on getting back to what ever each of us considers "normal". For me it is taking part in Wordless Wednesday....
Today is the first day of May......Aaahhh.... just saying it makes me feel optimistic and hopeful.
In this part of Eastern Canada, we have not yet reached a "planting season", but natural growth has started.
This pretty dandelion, which will be the bane of my existence in a couple of weeks, is now signifying that as far as Mother Nature is concerned, growing has begun!
Boy you're quick off the mark. Can't you schedule your posts? I love to see lots of lovely green grass littered with dandelions, it is such a pretty sight.
ReplyDeleteJO ON FOOD, MY TRAVELS AND A SCENT OF CHOCOLATE
I sure can schedule,Jo. That's how I got by the a-z thing... but I notice a lot of people get the posts out early.... now I don't have to worry about tomorrow!! yeah!
DeleteThe poor, much maligned dandelion is actually very pretty, with it's dahlia like head and very versatile too you can pick it to admire, eat or brew it into some wine!
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of people have eaten or brewed them, but for the time being, anyway, I will stick to admiring them...LOL! Until NBLCC has it for sale, anyway!haha
DeleteI know dandelions are weeds, but I like them any ways :)
ReplyDeleteThey are quite beautiful, especially when there are fields of them....however, a dozen or more on my lawn or in my garden a just pests...aka..weeds!!
DeleteThanks for the comment.
Patricia, Sugar & Spice & All Things ? Nice
oh come on - its such a pretty dandelion with its lovely yellow head and lion teeth leaves! Let it be!
ReplyDeletehaha You are so funny... it is actually pretty,I just need to take a deep breath and allow it a natural demise.
DeleteI've been waging a war on the dandelions, in my gardens, for years. I've won a few battles, but I know very well in the end, they will win the war!!!

You are so right, Kathy, we just have to pick our battles!
DeleteDandelions are a inspirational lesson in themselves. They're just survivors and never give up no matter what. Happy May! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your great attitude, Lexa. Thanks for the comment!
