Wordless Wednesday ~ w Linky

October 23,2013

I love all things natural and but have a healthy respect for the forces of Nature. While visiting one of the beautiful Parks in our city I saw first hand how our coasts are slowly ( and sometimes not so slowly)  falling victim to erosion.

The solid rock of this coast line has been like this for many, many years.

On the other hand, and only a few hundred feet away, the soft soil that supports the "look-outs" are rapidly wearing away. Without prompt attention, we will be unable to  have safe points to view the spectacular Bay of Fundy!

  1. Our coastline is so beautiful indeed. It would be shame not to be able to safely view it any more.

  6. How very sad to see that type of erosion. Hopefully, action will be taken soon to correct the continuing problem.

    1. You are so right,Monica, it is indeed very sad. Perhaps if I contacted the company responsible for the park, it might help.... another "to do" list!
