As you may have surmised if you have read any of my recent posts, the weather is a dominant factor, and it is usually is not favorable. We have, however, had a run of 3 or 4 days of sunshine and warm temps but I was busy enjoying them and not snapping photos. I am drawing on a few I captured awhile ago.
Fog can be rather mysterious and calming if taken in small doses. It shrouds trees, grasses and plants in droplets of water without damaging any delicate blooms.
Although inviting, this park bench remains vacant. Standing would be my preference to a wet seat!
Lovely flowers were soaking up the..er.. fog!?
These were clustered around the base of a tree.
The flowers on this plant remind me of those that a child first learns to draw. Simple five petals with a round center. Quite lovely.
Have a wonderful week and "cheers" to sunshine!
Beautiful images with and without fog ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, Minkamo ( Monika) . Appreciate you dropping by. Love your post as well!
DeleteLove all the flowers, the fog is really eerie!
ReplyDeleteThe fog is "different" ,Karren, but we have learned to deal with it. We could be having earthquakes or tornados, so this is not so bad. I do, however, REALLY miss the sunshine!
DeleteWhat a beautiful series, I love the foggy views and the lovely wet flowers. Thanks so much for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by, Laura. I have come to really enjoy and appreciate by "blog families" and yours is definitely one of them.

ReplyDeleteThat is so nice to hear, Patrick, as so many people see it in a negative way. It could be so much worse. Tks for dropping by.
DeleteWhat a lovely series - I like fog and wish, we had more of it in our area.
ReplyDeleteRemember, like I learned to draw flowers, even so...
Thanks, Macha, I am learning to like the fog. It is here and I can't control it so might as well find something positive about it to like.

DeleteLovely captures of the flowers. The park looks so serene.
ReplyDeleteIt was very quiet and serene on that day, Dominique, and the flowers are just starting to show full bloom.
DeleteI love the colour of those light blue flowers. They look simple, but they are still very beautiful. And you've really managed to capture the fog. The photos are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThose particular ones are the flower of a green and white perennial that grows in my garden but am not familiar with the name. Tks for dropping by, Klarafotar.
DeleteBeautiful and so calming photos!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy, I am learning to find something positive in the weather conditions that have been coming this way
DeleteThere is something comforting about foggy days...
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Parent Club, it is like a big silky silver blanket that covers us and appears to comfort.

DeleteBeautiful photos! Love the flowers, they are so pretty and while the fog can be dismal, it does have a beauty all its own.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Monica, it can be dismal especially if it goes on and on. I am trying ( w/o much success) to focus on a positive aspect but this is really pushing my limits! Thanks for taking time to comment.

ReplyDeleteI love ur fog (and flower pics). There's a lot of fog over here cuz of all the lakes and marshes and such. Seems to crop up more than I'd like
