Wordless Wednesday ~w Linky

Wednesday Jan.8,2014

I have never been very athletically inclined but fortunately my children,  who have been grown for some time now, love sports. Our second daughter, Jennifer, was recently on a ski trip and took these pics with her iPhone.

Poley Mountain, located just outside the town of Sussex, New Brunswick is a magnet for ski fans young and not so young. With all the right conditions naturally present thanks to Mother Nature's  PMS episode these past couple of weeks, Jen said her expedition on Sunday was jammed packed with people and with fun. With an elevation of 910 feet and a vertical drop in some places ( see photos with red tape)of 660 feet one needs to be constantly aware of the need for safety and the potential for thrills.

As the sun was setting on a long but thrill filled day, they had to stop and take a photo that she stated did not do justice to the amazing view they saw.

Maybe in my next life I will give it a try....... or not!

    1. I was more athletic when I was quite young, but although I walk and exercise (a fair bit) I am a long way from athletic..... sounds like a good resolution!
