Wordless Wednesday ~~ w Linky

Sept.4,2013

The spring blush has faded from my little garden, and summer is almost a memory as well, but here are a few blooms that have recently felt the benefit of the warm and sunny August we enjoyed.
Some are new but most have been there for many years. All are perennials either from the local garden shop or from friends.  Here is  a small collage of 6 of the brightest.

The largest shot is  the lovely Cone Flower. The others starting from top to bottom and right to left are: Zebra Mallow, Phlox, Russian Sage, Hollyhocks, and Lucifer.
This last  two shots are some of the new plants this year.  They look rather fragile, but seem  quite hardy. Only time will tell.
