Friday Photo Share- "H" is for Hiking

March 1,2013 

 Week #8 of ABC Friday Photo Share. Here it is the first of March already and with  another huge dumping of snow upon us we can safely say March came "in like a lion"!  Thanks to Maple Leaf Mommy and Mom vs.the Boys for being our vehicle on this journey.


 There seems to be something  indescribable about being in the woods, that brings a sense of calm, and peacefulness to our spirit.  We, my sisters and at brother, try to make at least one trek into the woods each year  where we chat non stop and laugh at all the silly things that only siblings can do .... at least with out causing raised eyebrows!!!





These two photos were taken at Fundy National Park on a late autumn day a few years ago. It was quite chilly but we stopped by a shelter and had hot chocolate ( provided by the lady in the red hat) and sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed the day!!

      You are so right, Jennifer, we have covered a lot of the trails at one time or another but many more to go. Maybe we will cross paths some time..... pun intended!!LOL

      You know, Shayna, if you are anything like my fellow hikers,the hardest part is making the commitment and getting there. The actual walking part is so enjoyable! Happy Trails!

      It is indeed a great place to go, Kate. There are many trails of varying degrees of difficulty. We generally take the easy ones as the peace and calm is still all around you. Happy Hiking.
