2nd Annual Christmas Tree Link Up

What a great idea this is. Thanks to Older Mommy Still Yummy for starting this.

This is the third year we have had..... (dare I say the words??) an artificial tree! There, I said it. For 40 years we did the real tree thing and circumstances necessitated the use of an artificial variety. Now I just love the fact that I can  leave it up as long as we want. Every year I use pretty much the same ornaments, but try to vary the arrangement of ribbon etc. This is the end result for this year.

Wishing each and everyone who takes the time to read this, a season filled with peace and love. I hope you take the time to hug those who mean the most to you and then tell them how you feel. Not everyone "knows".
My family and I call this season Christmas, but regardless of  what you call it..( a rose by any other name, still smells as sweet.) be happy and content, and know that we wish only the best for you.

  1. How true, and it certainly does seem to be, regardless of how it is celebrated, "...the most wonderful time of the year"!

    1. I agree, Monica. Although it is a shame we need a "day" to be nice, it is better to have one season of joy than none.

  2. I love this time of year too - more than any other. I must say though I think the Kelly girls are always nice no matter the season but I am grateful that we have this special time of the year to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child and hopefully we will all be a bit nicer than usual and carry it over into the New Year.

  3. What a lovely comment, Betty. Like you, I am grateful all year ( or at least I try to be) for family and friends, and when family ARE friends than so much the better!!!
