A bit about me.

I am going to start with who and what I am at present. I have had two careers. The first was ( and still is for that matter) a wife and mother. I tackled it with enthusiasm and due diligence. Then along about 27 years ago I felt the need to “enrich my life" (at least that’s how the brochure put it) and added  a nursing career to the challenge of raising two teenage daughters and a son in kindergarten.
Well, here it is, all that time later, and not only did I survive, but I actually thrived . Now I see retirement in my future and  like Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, I know it is inevitable, and will learn to deal with that as well.
This is where the blogging thing comes in! This is my first time ... it’s been awhile since I said that.... so I have a lot to learn. There is only one ground rule. To become more aware of the positive events of daily life and realistic enough to know that it is not always an easy task.

  7. Wow, thanks for dropping by my blog ... and just for the record - I totally love new blogs. Welcome.

I remember when I first started 1 1/2 years ago and learning curve and discovery was great. I discovered I totally loved writing and documenting stuff ... and then discovered the conversations and friendships that evolved.

You are in for a great experience.
