Wordless Wednesday ~ w Linky

I am willing to bet, with all the amazing and beautiful photos that I view on Wordless Wednesday there will not be another quite like this. Now I am not talking about quality or photographic genius here, just pure and simple subject matter.

These photos would be in the "Food Category" if you were so inclined to indulge. I am talking about what is considered  to be a real treat in  Eastern Canada  and often in the North Eastern U.S. as well.  Frequently eaten in much the same manner as one would grab a bag of chips  or nachos, as a "treat' while watching TV or chatting with a friend.

Dulse,  more often called seaweed, by  those who have not or chose not to try it, is purchased by the bag  in many areas during the summer and early autumn months. This particular one was one of many to be found, in the unassuming brown paper bag, lined up at our popular City Market.

Now, in an effort to  show a bit more class, for those of you who feel that would be your designation, I have prepared the same delicious and healthy food  in an other presentation more fitting to  your social standards.  Either way.. it's yours to enjoy!

    1. Hey, Theresa, at least you tried it. This dulse is grown specifically on Grand Manan for harvesting and selling around the world.
